June 13^th, Mr. Luo Tiejun, Vice-chairman of China Steel Industry Association, Mr. Cui Pijiang, former Chairman of China Coking Industry Association, Mr. Wu Yong, Director of Marketing Research Department of China Steel Industry Association, and Mr Zhang Linfeng, Director of Operation Department of China Steel Industry Association visited Huatai Head Quarter for study and instruction. Mr. Xu Lie, the President of Huatai, Mr. Shao Feng, deputy General Manager of Huatai, Mr. Yan Likun, President Assistant of Huatai, Madam Xue Gaifeng, Director of R&D Department, Ms Wang Xiuhua, director of Quality and Scientific Department of Huatai attended the reception and exchange meeting.

Mr. Xu made an introduction of the company’s development history and vison for future development first. Ms. Wang Xiuhua made a report about the achievements Huatai has made in the areas of new coke oven technology for high efficiency, energy saving, low carbon and environmental protection, and technological innovation on the CDQ extreme energy utility. Mr. Xu then reported the significant innovation on segmented heat exchange coke oven technology, oxygen enriched vertical heat recovery coke oven technology, and flue gas comprehensive utilization, and had a thorough discussion with the guests. Mr. Xu said that Huatai has always been focusing on how to address the common severe issues existing in the industry from the roots, which are high pollution, high energy and resource consumption, and developing new coking technologies, coke oven flue gas comprehensive utilization technologies, re-constructing coke-chemical product chain of combining clean coking and gas utilization coupling for the industries’ future to achieve a high energy efficiency and clean in the coke-chemical production, breaking survival bottleneck and fulfilling the demand of sustainable development. Huatai has also been maintaining a scientific, rigorous, practical and realistic attitude towards scientific technology innovation, partnering with universities and production companies to consolidate each stage of technical innovation from theory to application, realizing a company development led by innovation so as to win a bright future!

Mr. Luo and Mr. Cui highly appraised and recognized the technological innovation contribution to the green development of coking industry under the “double carbon” background, and expressed that their associations would enhance the exchange and cooperation with Huatai, supporting the promotion of vertical heat recovery coke oven technology, and developing of oxygen enriched vertical heat recovery coke oven and flue gas comprehensive utilization, making a joint contribution to the clean, high-efficient and low carbon emission development of coking industry !
