Year of rabbit has come with blessings following the leaving step of year of tiger, so does the steps of spring. January 16^th, Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Tech., Co., Ltd held its 2022 annual meeting in Anshan, Liaoning Province, for making annual report, awarding outstanding individuals and teams, and showing gratitude to all the employees’ hard work of 2022. Senior management and company’s employees attended the meeting that was chaired by the manager of administration, Ms Chen Renmei.

Mr. Han Dong, General Manager of Huatai Yongchuang(Beijing) Tech., Co., Ltd, made the 2022 annual report on behalf of the company. In his report, he emphasized that the pandemic has caused significant impact on the company’s work, imprinted a period of special memory on each of Huatai people’s mind. 2022, Huatai people has made too much diligent contribution to company’s growth. All the teams worked in solidarity to overcome the challenges, and has achieved company’s target ahead of time and exceeded the total management objective, which should win every congratulations and respect. 2022 is also a harvest year for scientific and technological research work of Huatai, vertical heat recovery coke oven technology, large scale CDQ technology, ultra-high temperature and pressure re-heating CDQ power generation technology, coke discharging gas redirected to ring air duct, CDQ burn loss research, CDQ safety monitoring technology based on pattern recognition, CDQ desulphurization technology and other significant technologies have been applied in the market or ready for promotion, which would definitely strengthen the company’s competency in the market. Regarding the project delivery, Battery No.1 of 1.2MTPA Jinzhou Fengan Co., Ltd has been put into operation on August 18^th, 2022, which is an important milestone of the company; the R&D center has been started for operation……At last, Mr. Han announced the 2023 management objective and outlook, encouraging all the colleagues to put the set back behind and look forwarding to all the best. Wishing Huatai would open a new page of development in the new year under the leadership of Mr. Xu and by the hard work of every colleague.  

Next, Senior management read the awarding resolutions and awarded the individuals who made outstanding contributions to department and company level science and technology, individuals who made outstanding contributions to quality management and company management, outstanding individuals of middle level management and project managers, outstanding individuals for pandemic control, outstanding R&D team and work team. In the past year, they have experienced the joy of success, and disappointment of lose. Wish them would learn lessons from failure, and strengthen their belief from success to have a steady personal development. All the Huatai people should be proud of them. Ms. Huo Haiwen, representative of outstanding individual, Mr. Du Yukui, representative of outstanding project managers, Mr. Chen Bencheng, representative of outstanding teams, and Mr. Sun Xingsheng, representative of outstanding individuals for pandemic control made their speech for retrospection and future outlook. In the year of 2023, all the Huatai people will work shoulder by shoulder to grasp opportunities, overcome all challenges, make progress to achieve the company’s objective of 2023!

At last, Mr. Xu Lie, the President of Huatai made his remarks. Mr. Xu firstly retrospect the 12 year’s development of Huatai, pointing out that scientific research and development is a company’s life and all the company’s work should treat it as the core. Huatai has preliminarily established the regulations and talent team, which require to be further strengthened. The operation of new office building has provided Huatai people with more comfortable working environment. The building is designed by Huatai, and constructed under Huatai, which reflects the rigorousness and effort of Huatai people. During the period of pandemic, all the Huatai people showed fearless spirit to fight the pandemic, push the project to move forward, truly paraphrasing what is Huatai’s sense of responsibility and mission. He wished all the colleagues should make the outstanding individuals as their example, facing the challenge, keep growing and make contributions to the 100-year growth of Huatai.

At half past three in the afternoon, the party commenced. The dance “Loyalty to the Nation” conveyed a fervent and profound sense of patriotism, embodying the very strength that enables us at Huatai to dispel gloom and ride the waves. Accompanied by graceful and lively movements, the performers opened the party. The adapted version of “The Original Dream” depicted the relentless pursuit and safeguarding of Huatai's founding aspirations amidst the journey. The crosstalk piece ‘These Three Years’ recounted how Huatai Yongchuang, with unwavering conviction, weathered the challenges of three years of pandemic. The dance ‘Lovely Swing’ radiated youthful vigour, while ‘Beautiful China’ was light and graceful. The poetry recital Dreaming of Tianmu Mountain alternated between forceful cadence and melodious cadence, conveying bittersweet emotions that highlighted the preciousness of familial and friendship bonds; The song Swapping the Rest of Our Lives moved all present with its heartfelt delivery and heavenly vocals, evoking deep admiration.

The humorous three-and-a-half-line verse “Ode to Huatai” had the audience in stitches, unable to contain their laughter; the chorus “Never Give Up” strode forward with head held high, braving the winds and waves, keeping pace with the times, showcasing the Huatai team's united spirit and ambitious drive; the sketch “News Misreport” was particularly ingenious, vividly portrayed, eliciting continuous laughter; The song ‘Starlight Lanterns’ illuminated the path ahead, chiming the clock of youth, voicing the hearts of Huatai and singing of their aspirations. The dance medley ‘The Legendary Bedsheet Dance’ had everyone moving to the beat and getting into the swing of things. The collective chorus of ‘One Song’ by senior executives expressed how they had journeyed across mountains and rivers to gather together, cherishing this moment of reunion as they sang as one. The medley ‘Tomorrow Will Be Better’ voiced their enduring affection for Huatai and their bright hopes for its future. Employee interactive games interspersed throughout the programme fostered conviviality and exuberance, while the colourful fireworks display to banish misfortune dazzled with its brilliance. Throughout history, scholars and heroes alike have held a special affection for wine. Cao Cao's verse ‘With wine in hand, we raise our cups; how brief is human life!’ and Wang Xizhi's ‘Drinking from floating cups along winding streams, we contemplate the world above and below’ capture this sentiment. The subsequent wine-opening ceremony elevated the annual gathering to its climax. In 2020, Chairman Xu commissioned one hundred casks of original-strength Fenjiu liquor, each holding ten jin, from China's oldest distillery in Shanxi. Each cask symbolised a year's bountiful harvest, while the hundred casks collectively embodied Huatai Yongchuang's aspiration to become a century-old institution. Due to the pandemic, we had not held an annual gathering for two years, making this year's cask the company's third. Finally, accompanied by the song ‘Unforgettable Tonight,’ let us draw a perfect close to 2022 with vigour and commence a new chapter for 2023 with anticipation. The road may be long, but walking will bring us there; the task may be difficult, but undertaking it will ensure success. Our glorious achievements are now etched in history, and a splendid vision has been sketched. Let us strive with vigour to ‘set sail once more’ and forge ahead with determination to ‘achieve new triumphs’, living up to our era and embracing a brighter tomorrow!
